TASTING NOTES - Pale gold in color, this Cava has aromas of mature white peach, toasted bread and green tea with hints of lemon citrus and apricots. Equally rich and broad on the palate, these flavors continue to unfold on the palate. Pair with: paté, seafood, tapas, paellas, grilled poultry or cured meats.

PRODUCTION NOTES: Certified Organic farming. Just south of Barcelona, the Penedès region is one of Spain’s most important in producing their Champagne-style sparkling wine, Cava. And here we have the “best of the best.” Gran Reserva Cava uses grapes from only a single, exceptional vintage (2008 was splendid!) and is aged for four years (six months in oak barrels). This cava takes on earthy notes mixed with the sumptuous quality we associate with truly beautiful bubbly. Pair this as a dry antidote to all of your sweet apple, almond, and nutty desserts.
