This is a superb showing of the Aconcagua Costa range from Errázuriz, the wines that started the transformation towards fresher wines with less sweetness and oak. TASTING NOTES- Concentrated black fruit flavors, plum, raspberries, lovely spice and toasted notes. The palate is vivacious and has a very good finish and a notable absence of menthol or eucalyptus, very clean and with focused fruit. PRODUCTION NOTES- Grapes were handpicked, sorted, de-stemmed, crushed and placed in open top stainless steel tanks for fermentation. The grapes had a total maceration for 18-25 days. Afterwards, the wine was kept in French oak barrels, 25% of them new, full malolactic fermentation and ageing for 12 months.
